\r\n\r\n

This inframe engine kit includes the new first-to-the-aftermarket, patented-forged steel MONOTHERM® piston which
supports engines with the serial number prefixes of MXS and BXS using the OE piston reference 306-7460.
MAHLE MONOTHERM® pistons are single piece forged steel pistons that eliminate the need for a skirt, and are
designed to handle both the extreme operating temperatures and very high cylinder pressures present in today’s
heavy duty diesel engines. This design simplifies the installation over the two-piece articulated piston; at the same
time ensures the superior endurance and performance expected from MAHLE FERROTHERM® two-piece articulated
pistons.

Other design features include the advanced bushingless design, phosphate coating, and the patented MAHLE shaker
plate to keep the piston crown cool for greater survivability and durability.
