With hundreds of used diesel engines in our 10+ acre facility, RF Engine maintains one of the industry's largest inventories of heavy-duty powerplants for agricultural, construction, trucking, and industrial equipment. Our Used Engine Classifications:

• Good Runner: Starts and runs as it should with minimal smoke or blow-by. Ready to drop in and replace a blown engine in working equipment.
• Fair Runner: Starts and runs acceptably but may have some smoke, blow-by, or minor issues that need attention. Shouldn't be run long-term without service.
• Running Core: Starts and runs poorly with excessive smoke and blow-by. Needs rebuild before returning to service but makes a good exchange core.
• Rotating Core: May fire but won't start or run. Crankshaft rotates freely. Good for rebuilding or replacing damaged castings.
• Parts Core: Seized or damaged engines (holes in block, dropped valves, fire damage). Salvageable for smaller parts like rods, rockers, cams, gear trains, and hardware.
