John Deere 404 Engine Complete Running Core Diesel ESN: 568693RO MDN: 6404TH01 BCN: R59850 Heavy burn. Still turns over. Aluminum melted and all return lines burnt off. Tech Notes: Started with fair amount of either. Hards to bleed injection lines. Oil started to come out top of cannister oil filter and was rev'ing fair amount. Shut-off plate was used, engine idled down and smoked bad. Engine would not shut down with inline shut-off, had to cut off fuel supply.
